Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it?
Leading NI law firm McConnell Kelly recently held a reception in East Belfast to mark their quarter century milestone in business and revealed they've handled more than 100,000 client cases in their 25 year history.
The event, which included a local media meet and greet, saw the milestone marked with a handmade cake - themed to look like a 100 year old legal tome - with the icing saying '25 years, our story'.
Fergus McConnell, Co-Founder and Director at McConnell Kelly said he remembered his first day in business as if it was only yesterday:
"It's hard to believe that we are marking our 25th anniversary already," he added.
"It seems like no time at all has passed since my friend Patrick Kelly and myself decided to 'set up shop' in East Belfast. This is a tremendous achievement for everyone and we owe our success to the quality of our team and our clientele."
McConnell Kelly are now widely recognised as being among the top firms in the country, having led and handled many of the province's most prominent criminal cases, and their 25th anniversary will be followed by more good news for the company in January 2016.
